So, it seems to have been easier than I expected to switch from a morning schedule to a late-night schedule. The only side-effect seems to be an obsession with my sleep schedule and an overwhelming urge to read simplistic, formulaic romance novels. But since I'm actually being paid well for once (very well, in fact), I'm not going to be complaining at all. And I don't really mind the hours too much. Instead of the 5 I was supposed to be getting, I'm getting closer to 7 a night so far.
A follow up on this huge fight my friends are having. One of them has sent someone into Switzerland to try and quietly push the country to side; now I'm more pissed with her than the other (which could be seen as siding the other way). The one sister felt the need to tell me that she had been considering coming over for the big dinner, and then found out the other sister blocked her of Facebook. That was not something I needed to know and makes me feel like she's almost hinting that I should do something about it (like chose a side and say something to the other sister). AARGH! Alright, now that that's out, I feel so much better.
I also am all caught up on my TV! Didn't expect that to happen...
The Big Bang Theory I watched this live with my Dad before heading off to my first day of work. It was pretty good and I got some lines from a super-competitive Bernadette that I think I may be using myself. Mostly, though, I just enjoyed watching it with my Dad. This show is one of only a few place my family's taste is in accord.
Grey's Anatomy I do have something to say about this week. Dear ol' Dr. Webber really pissed me off. The end of the last episode, he was monolog-ing about how choosing Meredith to make his medical decisions was the right choice, but at the end of this, he completely contradicted that and told her she made the wrong call and he shouldn't have chosen her. But as I was working last night and thinking about it, I came up with a rather labored reason as to why this may be: when you're that sick, you have to take your frustrations out on someone and family, well, family will still love you no matter how much of a jerk you are. Still, it was rather awkward and didn't quite work.
A rather detailed look forward:
Sunday I can guarantee you I sleep through the Packers-Lions game. I plan on waking up late morning though and taking an afternoon nap (since that's what I'm going to have to do Monday again). Since I'm not working, I'm guessing I'll be watching Once Upon a Time on Sunday (which is tomorrow I guess. My internal schedule is all off)
Monday My last night working, so I can guarantee you, I will not be watching anything that airs this day
Tuesday My battle to get my body back on it's normal sleep schedule will commence, so I'll probably watch Sleepy Hollow and Castle during the day in an effort to ensure I stay awake.
Wednesday Hopefully, I'll get around to Tuesday's episodes of Agents of SHIELD and New Girl (which I won't be watching Tuesday night because I'll be at Subway)
Thursday This day is my birthday (nananananananana happy birthday to me-e). After the twins in the morning, I plan on spending the rest of my day watching TV and playing video games so I will be all caught up, including the Wonderland premiere by the time I go to bed Thursday.
