Yes! New TV Galore!

So, there was this plan I had for yesterday.  I was going to wake up early and watch Sleepy Hollow and Castle on Hulu before I had to leave to go to the other side of the island (the south other side, not the north one).  But I would not wake up yesterday, and once I did, I would not start moving.  At all.  So the shows had to wait until after I got home from work and then I had to cut out and pick up my friend Amy from the airport.  So, I managed to watch Castle yesterday before dinner, Agents of SHIELD before the airport, New Girl before bed and I just finished watching Sleepy Hollow with my mom.

The order I saw them in:

Castle YES!  They totally did not do the horrible brush-off un-do-in-three-episodes answer.  Beckett took the job in DC and said yes to Castle (after making sure the offer was still good for a long-distance relationship). But I'm really getting tired of these "To be continued" at the end of these episodes.  It's very frustrating.  When I watch this stuff, I expect an answer at the end of the episode, not that I'll have to wait another week.  A season or mid-season finale that leave something open (although maybe not the case) is one thing, but to cut off in the middle of an investigation... I feel like Alexis' kidnapping was only, like, two episodes ago or something.  Those two were pretty bad, actually.  Maybe that's my problem with this one. So, while it started off very well, the ending pissed me off.

Agents of SHIELD I got to watch this one live :)  ...or rather, live for Hawaii, which is actually 5 hours after it actually airs in the real world (and by that I mean the East Coast).  It was pretty crazy fun.  I think I'll probably enjoy rewatching it a time or two.  My brother kept saying Coulson isn't supposed to be the "cool one" but he won't sit down and watch the oneshots on my movies so that's his problem.  I enjoyed it a lot but I am not watching it live again; I'll enjoy it by myself when no one's around to shoot me disbelieving looks or make snide comments.  It was the assembling of the team and had a nice balance between comedy and action.

New Girl The most entertaining part of this episode was watching Schmidt try to keep Cece and Elizabeth from realizing what was going on at the office party.  That being said there were several specifics I liked about this show.  I liked Winston picking up a cat and ending the twisted thing with Daisy.  I really like the apartment's new cat and hope they keep it in the show instead of just sort of letting it disappear.  I liked the fact that Jess is back, teaching at a school; the job hunt thing from season 2 got old.  And Nick and Jess were pretty cute about their relationship.

Sleepy Hollow We spent the first few minutes discussing all the problems with it.  And I finally figured out why I was so pissed they killed that cop at the end of the episode; it's the same actor who played Sulu in the new Star Trek.  So yeah.  I'm still not sure about this show; it's only supposed to be a few episodes long and by the time I decide whether I like it or not, it'll be over.
